Job Duties

• Pick and pack online customer orders accurately
• Prepare orders for shipment
• Crosstrain and assist in multiple warehouse areas

Requirements

• Strong attendance and reliability
• Reliable transportation (not on a bus line)
• Able to stand, walk, bend and lift 30 50 lbs. frequently
• Steel/composite-toe boots and required PPE
• RF scanner/warehouse experience preferred
• Must follow all safety and dress-code policies
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Must be available to work 365 days a year
• Must have valid id

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse & Yard Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, material handling, order fulfillment, and forklift operation.

You ll work as part of a team to prepare customer orders, safely move materials, and help provide excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to locate, pick, pull, and stage materials for customer orders.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently using a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist customers with orders both in person and over the phone.
• Take customer orders by phone and accurately gather the required materials.
• Verify materials and quantities to ensure orders are accurate and complete.
• Load customer orders safely and efficiently.
• Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with general warehouse, yard, and material-handling duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and moving materials.
• Good math and basic measurement skills.
• Ability to work in both cold and warm temperatures.
• Forklift experience is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Dependable, hardworking, and customer-service oriented.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to working safely.
