What You ll Be Doing
- Perform general Arc Welding, primarily using the Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) process
- Operate welding equipment, jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, computer systems, and hand tools
- Follow work orders, standard work, and safety procedures to fabricate production parts
- Work primarily with fixtures, with occasional fabrication of simple weldments without fixturing
- Clean and grind your own work before moving to the next operation
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of your finished work
- Safely operate overhead cranes and hoists to move heavy materials
- Support the company s 5S program to keep your work area clean, organized, and efficient
- Use a computer system to update job status and progress
What We re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ months of welding experience
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Schedule
Monday Friday | 5:45 AM 2:30 PM overtime required, based on business needs
Pay
$23.90 per hour
