Warehouse & Yard Associate
Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Lunch: -hour unpaid lunch
Pay: $18.00/hour
About the Position
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse & Yard Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, material handling, order fulfillment, and forklift operation.
You ll work as part of a team to prepare customer orders, safely move materials, and help provide excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to locate, pick, pull, and stage materials for customer orders.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently using a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
- Assist customers with orders both in person and over the phone.
- Take customer orders by phone and accurately gather the required materials.
- Verify materials and quantities to ensure orders are accurate and complete.
- Load customer orders safely and efficiently.
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with general warehouse, yard, and material-handling duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and moving materials.
- Good math and basic measurement skills.
- Ability to work in both cold and warm temperatures.
- Forklift experience is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Dependable, hardworking, and customer-service oriented.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to working safely.
