Warehouse Shipping Associate

Staffworks is currently seeking a Warehouse Shipping Associate to fill an open position located in East Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate should have previous warehouse shipping experience, forklift experience and reliable transportation.

Requirements of the Warehouse Shipping Associate

• High School Diploma or GED
• Steel toe boots/shoes
• Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language
• Ability to follow and execute detailed process/directions
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a culturally diverse workplace
• Eye-hand coordination and bi-manual dexterity sufficient to work with small parts
• Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Previous shipping and forklift experience preferred
• Forklift and OSHA certification preferred but not required

• $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Shipping Associate

• Prepares all shipping documentation for customer shipments
• Checks open delivery workload list for sequence of orders to be filled
• Process small packages through the shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, Airborne, etc.)
• Operate forklift to move products in warehouse
• Other duties as assigned
