Job Description
Team Leader/Coordinator in Shipping Department
Hours: M-F 7:30AM.-4PM.
Pay: $16 or more DOE
Responsibilities of the Team Leader:
- Performs the over site for the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise & products.
- Packages and prepares products & merchandise for final shipment , posts weights and shipping charges.
- Lifts heavy items (up to 40lbs.)
- Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
- Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.
Qualifications of the Team Leader:
- Must be able to follow directions (written & verbal)
- Be able to use a computer
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Prior Shipping/Receiving or warehouse experience
