Supply Chain Analyst
Pay $18.00 - $21.00
Hours 8am - 5pm
The Supply Chain Analyst will be the primary point of contact for claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution and will also handle various customer service responsibilities to ensure customer satisfaction.
Supply Chain Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and document all incoming claims.
Ensure OSD (Overage, Shortage, Damaged) claims are submitted
Validate claims with supporting evidence such as Proof of Delivery (POD), Bill of Lading (BOL), and photographs.
Communicate with consignees to gather necessary details and clarify any ambiguities.
Serve as the primary contact for consignees and sales representatives regarding claims.
Notify relevant parties of claim statuses and provide updates within the 30-day research timeframe.
Handle inquiries related to claim statuses and ensure clear identification of claims in question.
Collaborate with internal teams to research and resolve claims within the designated timeframe.
Decide on the appropriate resolution for claims, including replacing nonconforming goods or issuing credits/refunds.
Manage the return process for overage items requiring a Return Goods Authorization (RGA).
Handle disputes and claim denials.
Review additional evidence provided for disputes and communicate outcomes to relevant parties.
Ensure all claims processes comply with company Policy.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and communications.
Generate regular reports on claim statuses, resolutions, and any trends observed.
Enter and edit purchase orders manually and process Internet (EDI) orders.
Verify and maintain all customer information, including billing and shipping addresses, request dates, items, and pricing on all orders.
Send confirmations to customers and sales reps, keeping them informed of all changes.
Assist the Shipping Department/Manager on prioritizing needs and address any issues or concerns.
Handle customer issues and requests for information from phone calls, emails, or letters to ensure effective and long-term problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
Monitor open orders for key accounts to ensure timely deliveries and guarantee customer satisfaction.
Issue invoices, credit memos/returns (RGA) as requested.
Keep all documentation current and filed appropriately.
Other duties as needed.
Supply Chain Analyst Skills & Ability:
High school diploma required; an associate degree preferred with emphasis in business and/or accounting.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional business environment, preferably in customer service or sales.
Strong understanding of logistics, shipping processes, and sales/accounting processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
