Quality Assurance Specialist Qualifications:
Must have at least 1-2 years of experience with medical review, insurance authorizations, and/or medical billing in office or customer service setting
Ability to organize and effectively work on multiple projects at one time.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent computer skills
Time management skills
Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
Quality Assurance Specialist responsibilities:
Reviews Medical documentation and qualifies patients for services
Verify insurance and obtain prior authorization
Calculate patient s deductible, co-insurance, or cost share
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and laws.
Identify trends, and carrier issues relating to billing and reimbursements.
Research, and record findings
Analyzes data, identifies issues, reaches conclusions, and propose strategies for resolution of complex reimbursement issues.
Hours Monday-Friday 8:30am 5pm, with 1 Saturday per month 9am 1pm.
