Production Support Technician

12 hour shift PM shift and 12 hours AM shift

$26.50/hr

The Production Support technician will work closely with engineers to support plant needs

Job Responsibilities

        Provide line support for the production line for manufacturing issues related to maintenance and process quality

        Works closely with the Process Engineer and Maintenance Engineers to respond to machine alarm errors, malfunctions, and stoppages .

        Works closely with manufacturing engineers to resolve process issues that impede production.

        The position will take instruction from the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Manager

        Highly motivated, self-driven and well-organized with hands-on mentality

        Good analytical and problem-solving skills with flexible mind-set

        Driven by innovation and motivated to a drive improvements and change

        Provide troubleshooting and related manufacturing support using advanced quality tools.

Background & Skills

        High School Diploma is required; 2yr technical college degree is preferred

        Strong leadership skills such as flexibility, dependability, and independence are essential

        Strong written and verbal communication skills

        Computer skills: SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) required

        Proven problem-solving skills

        Strong decision-making skills

        Team player who can build positive working relationships

        Previous experience with leading teams and continuous improvement events are preferred, but not required

        Experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment is preferred
