POSITION TITLE:  Production Supervisor

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production process and supervision of the production employees.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

        Supervision of the loading (green room) and packing room (red room) personnel.

        Being fully knowledgeable on the operation of the machines used for production.

        Maintaining daily crew

        Know egg specifications for all products as well as product specifications.

                    Report any food safety and quality issues/problems to manager to initiate action.

        Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s), Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP s), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP s).

        Implement and make sure the department is meeting all scheduling goals

        Encourage a positive work environment/morale and motivate the team

        Implement and oversee effective job training

        Be on board and support all company initiatives

        Other tasks as assigned.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: The job of Production Supervisor will have satisfactorily achieved when:

                    Egg loading and packaging per the scheduled days quantity is achieved while ensuring Quality Assurance specifications.

                    The operating speed of the egg loading machine is maintained at a continuous rate in order to meet the days goals.

                    Implement effective training program to ensure quality standards and production standards are met as well as reducing turnover.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Work on feet 8 or more hours, 5-7 days per week. (currently 12 hr. days, working towards 8 hr. days)

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: 

• Latex gloves, earplugs, hairnet, beard net (as needed)
• Rubber boots, safety glasses, and apron as needed as the environment is wet.
