Payroll/Benefits Specialist. M-F 8am-5pm. Pay negotiable based on experience.


Main Goal

-Service internal customers; ie: orientations, benefits, etc.
-Manage payroll for hourly, salary, and temporary employees
-Time clock management with biometric, manual punch and computerized time clock systems
-Generate payroll reports and audits as needed by management
-Guarantee that payroll is processed accurately and on-time. Employee must comply with all state and federal employment labor laws. This employee will also serve as a support to the accounting department.


Responsibilities
-Guarantee accurate and timely process of payroll and TEMP payroll
-Maintenance of ADP Payroll System, Time Clock Management System and Manual Time Clocks to include setting up new employee in the TCMS
-Update YTD Reports OT, 401(k), vacation accruals and various HR reports using Report Smith
-Assist & comply with Payroll and HR Audits
-Process all 401(k) and Profit Sharing Loans for employees
-Administration of Disability Program to include follow up on LOA letter and deduction reimbursement
-Responds to all unemployment information requests
-Prepares new employee files and employee orientations
-Responds to employee requests and questions regarding benefits
-Coordinates the benefit meetings for new employees
-Reconciles the monthly benefit billings
-Maintains and updates employee records
-Acts as the Lead Office Administrator in coordinating the office layout, clean ups champions the maintenance of a professional environment
-Maintains the uniform policy (inventory/billing)
-Responsible to adhere to all safety policies and procedures
-Other duties as assigned

Experience:
oMinimum 2 years payroll experience
-education:
oAssociate s Degree or equivalent experience

oMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel [advanced]), Access, Adonix
oEdits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information
oDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, and monitors own work to ensure quality
