Medical Receptionist
Job Description
Qualified candidate will be someone with at least 4 years of secretarial experience, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED
Four (4) years consistent secretarial experience, medical office experience is required
Must have the ability to multi-task
Ability to manage the use of multiple computer screens in software program
Competent computer skills including,and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
Work well with with others.
Essential responsibilities:
Manage the front reception desk
Answer multiple phone lines (initiate triage calls, take messages, transfer calls, etc)
Check clients in and out for their appointments with Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Therapists
Schedule appointments in our computer software program
Complete reminder calls to clients regarding appointment times
Filing
Manage Doctor, Nurses and Therapists schedules
Monitor waiting area
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm (to start). Will require one evening shift (noon-8:00pm) per week
