Job Description
Staffworks is currently seeking a Patient Care Associate
Qualified candidates MUST have at least one years medical insurance experience.
Patient Care Associate Qualifications:
Understanding medical terminology & being able to read and understand coverage criteria.
Strong computer and phone skills, ability to move comfortably between two computer systems
Self-motivated, organized, ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
Ability to prioritize and deliver on commitments.
Ability to operate point of sale.
Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and keep all work current up to date and accounts growing.
All aspects of exceptional Customer Service
Must be flexible and able to multi-task switching from one job task to another frequently.
Manage and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices, and polices/procedures.
Patient Care Associate duties & responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers ascertaining there needs and answering any questions.
Assist customers in finding the product that best fits their medical needs.
Help stock and maintain the retail sales floor.
Processes all new orders for assigned account(s) and patients.
Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization when needed.
Answer a high volume of incoming calls and be able to manage multiple lines when needed.
Complete paperwork, and orders in a timely manner
All aspects of patient intake and proper input of all information.
Follow and understand medical policies to ensure items are covered.
Coordinates deliveries and set up of equipment.
Maintains clean sales orders and tasks.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am 5:00pm, Saturdays 9:00am 1:00pm as scheduled
