Job Description
Staffworks is seeking motivated Material Attendants to join our premier client. This role is responsible for distributing, moving, stocking, shipping, and receiving a variety of parts and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay Rate $21.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday Thursday: 6:00 AM 3:30 PM, Friday: 6:00 AM 10:00 AM
Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs and can include Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all material handling and safety procedures
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts
- Perform stocking duties including picking, sorting, packing, stacking, loading, and labeling
- Maintain accurate inventory and material transaction records
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and part-order issues and escalate complex concerns when necessary
- Use hand and power tools as required
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and movement of materials throughout the facility
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous material handling experience
- Forklift operation experience required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
You will enter this role in a temporary position with the potential for consideration for regular full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
