Provides preventative and predictive maintenance of facility and equipment systems.
Installs, tests, diagnoses, and troubleshoots electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices including control panels and equipment, and continuity of circuitry. .
Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, electrical code specification and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment.
Conducts daily rounds and equipment/machinery checks.
Implements successful installation and repairs of electrical systems and wiring but not limited to power distribution systems, lighting systems, control panels, components of machinery and equipment, data and fiber optic wiring, and electrical infrastructure.
Assists in training other electrical team members as needed.
Participates in the development and maintenance of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Completes daily work orders as assigned and updates the team with daily work reports detailing progress and new and ongoing issues.
Identify when an external contractor /vendor is needed and works in collaboration with contract/vendor to completed the required work.
Develop and maintain electrical parts inventory levels.
Perform ongoing and preventative electrical general maintenance on facilities, machinery and equipment.
Participant in new equipment start up team and performs electrical new equipment installation work as needed.
Implement and comply with electrical safety rules and the NEC (National Electrical Code). And all applicable industry regulations.
Maintains up to date and accurate maintenance records.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the repair of electrical systems.
Identify and suggest possible new approaches or best known methods to enhance continuous improvement in the facilities.
Acts as Authorized Lock Out Tag Out Person and conducts compliant lock out tag outs.
Complies with all company policies and safety rules and regulations.
Performs other tasks as directed.
Educational, Experience Based, and Skill Qualifications
High School diploma and completion of Electrical Journeyman Apprenticeship Program.
5 years experiences as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician preferably in a manufacturing setting. .
Experience working with 480 3 phase and single phase electrical systems.
Solid electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read electrical schematics, electrical prints, wiring diagrams, and nameplates.
Ability to troubleshoot controls and electrical systems with amp meters, voltmeters, tracers, and recording devices.
Ability to troubleshoot variable frequency drives (VFDs) and controls.
Ability to use scaffolds, ladders, scissor lift, power tools, small motorized equipment while performing job duties.
Ability to work alone and in groups.
Experienced in authorized lock out tag out procedures and implementing workplace safety procedures.
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
Requires attention to detail. Critical thinking and diagnostic ability, detailed written and verbal skills, and power hand tool competency. Must be analytical.
Ability to work independently in a busy setting, highly flexible with solid interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to walk, remain on feet for extended time periods, reach, stoop. Kneel and lift up to an including 35 pounds as needed.
