Machine Operator Support

Staffworks is currently seeking reliable employees to support Machine Operators in a warehouse located in Liverpool, NY. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of manufacturing experience.  

Requirements of the Machine Operator Support

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of manufacturing experience
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Basic organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Monday Friday
• 1^st Shift 6:00am 2:00pm 
• 2^nd Shift 2:00pm 10:00pm
• $16.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE  

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator Support

• Assist the machine operator with set up and pre-running of the equipment to ensure proper production startup
• Learn machine settings to complete tasks accurately
• Assist the machine operator according to specifications and in a timely fashion
• Regularly test product throughout the fun
• Load and unload items from the machine
• Safely operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
• Learn to identify basic troubleshooting issues and assist in the repair
• Maintain assigned machines and equipment as needed to maximize product quality and operational efficiency
• Learn preventative maintenance tasks to assist the machine operator
• Assist in general production work and perform a variety of tasks as needed
• Clean up area after machine use and practice good housekeeping behaviors
• May be required to operate computer, email, Microsoft Excel, printer, copier, fax machine, telephone, scanner, calculator, micrometers, gages, power tools, hand tools, forklifts and pallet jacks
