Machine Operator Utica, NY
Staffworks is hiring motivated Machine Operators to join our team in the Utica, NY area. If you enjoy hands-on work and manufacturing, we want to hear from you!
Schedule: Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:00 PM; Friday overtime as needed, 6:00 11:00 AM
Pay: $18.00/hour
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of machine operating/manufacturing experience
- Ability to read work orders, drawings, and a tape measure
- Ability to read calipers
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift/pull 8' 12' lumber onto a conveyor
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing and woodworking equipment
- Fabricate cabinets, countertops, panels, wall systems, and other casework
- Use hand tools and standard woodworking equipment
- Read and follow production packets, drawings, and work orders
- Perform quality checks and maintain equipment
- Work safely and effectively as part of a team
