Job Description
Busy and growing law firm seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break
Pay rate: $23.00 -$25.00 pr hour DOE
Position Overview
A busy and professional law firm is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Secretary/Paralegal to provide administrative and clerical support for Attorneys.
Qualified candidates will possess knowledge in preparation of documents in civil litigation, matrimonial/family law, real estate and estate planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Attorneys schedules
- Draft correspondences
- Organize case files
- Manage client communications
Additional responsibilities as needed:
- Answering phones
- Receiving and distributing mail/packages
- Greeting client
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge in preparation of documents in civil litigation, matrimonial/family law, real estate and estate planning.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and confidently within established procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
