This is a central position responsible for analyzing and directing all IT related activities of the organization with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT department. The position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for computer users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination.
Oversee the 24/7 operations of IT infrastructure ensuring that systems and teams meet SLA performance objectives.
Determine the goals of IT within broad outlines provided by the executive management; contribute to the continuity of computer services by providing necessary technical leadership and project coordination.
Ensure that all IT operation s team members are aligned with the business needs.
Ensure data is backed up to meet business objectives.
Develop and manage IT operating and capital budgets.
Forecast costs, equipment and personnel needs for projects and programs as required and related to MIS operations.
Oversee the planning, procurement, implementation, operations, maintenance and obsolescence of technology assets.
Manage vendors and service providers including SLA s, RFI s, RFP s and contracts as it relates to IT operations.
Formulate and maintain policies, procedures and documentation for the IT operations area.
Coordinate and lead major projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and impact of IT across the organization.
Manage operational delivery of infrastructure related technologies and processes required by project work.
Plan, coordinate and implement an enterprise-wide development program to align IT systems with current and future needs.
Ensure the effective resolution of competing demands and priorities that are reflective of sound judgement, strong problem-solving skills, flexibility and diplomacy.
Ensure staff receives the appropriate training with all relevant technology.
Report against service levels by measuring how successful the team performs against key performance metrics.
Champion the creation of comprehensive IT documentation to support current and future initiatives.
Present a professional image as a representative of the company.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of Tableau and Data analytics
Experience in Agile work processes
Knowledge of network security and architecture best practices
Knowledge of application architecture, operating systems, and cloud services, as well as its security concerns.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor s degree or an equivalent level of education and experience in Information Management, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of IT experience with strong emphasis on infrastructure, application development, data management and operations.
4+ years of experience directing or managing IT operations.
Experience managing cloud-based SaaS solutions and their infrastructure.
PMP or significant experience with project management.
