1st Shift HL Production Floater
Job Summary:
The Floater will operate and maintain Fiber Termination Cell along with the Hardline Automation Lines based on company needs. The Floater must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform several different tasks with great attention to detail. Ability to set-up, operator and monitor machines to ensure the quality, size and appearance of the finished products.
Monday Friday 7am 3pm. $15.50 per hour
Monday - Friday 3pm until 11pm $15.50 plus 10% shift differential = $17.05
Sunday - Thursday 11pm until 7am $15.50 plus 10% shift differential = $17.05

Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and other necessary equipment.
- Responsible for using appropriate gauging equipment as directed Completes all required paperwork including work cards indicating how many parts are made and appropriate job number.
- Fills our scrap tickets by following the proper company procedure
- Verifies parts in bin against the applicable shop order methods
- Sorts parts as required Monitors the Fiber Jumper Cell during operation to identify and correct improper/unusual conditions, faulty equipment and defective materials. Any improper/unusual conditions which cannot be corrected will be reported to the supervisor.
- Clean all process tooling as well as other related fiber production equipment, using pre-established cleaning procedures. Maintain documentation or process conditions, run time conditions and variations from process sheets
- Responsible for accurately completing all required paperwork and maintaining a clean environment to prevent contamination
- Responsible for performing first piece and in-process quality inspections using appropriate gauging equipment as directed
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, abiding by company rules and safety regulations
- All other duties assigned by Line Leader, Section Leader or Supervisor
What you bring:
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED.
One year of relatable experience.
Knowledge:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
General computer skills
Basic mathematical knowledge
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team within a culturally diverse workplace.
Mechanical knowledge; use of hand tools
