Job Description
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and equipment while supporting facility maintenance and continuous improvement efforts in a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain buildings, grounds, and shop areas
- Monitor and order maintenance tools, parts, and supplies
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Operate forklifts, manlifts, and other equipment safely
- Communicate maintenance-related production issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
- Technical degree in maintenance or manufacturing preferred
- Mechanical, electrical, CNC, or machine adjustment experience a plus
- Welding and forklift experience preferred
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot equipment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
Schedule:
Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
Pay:
$21.00 $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
