Customer Service Representative I

Hours/Week: 40 hours Location: US: NY: Utica
Customer Service Representatives are responsible for responding to retirement plan participant questions and inquiries via phone or e-mail in a timely manner, and logging calls into the Plan Manager system.
-Learn and understand Customer Service procedures.
-Become familiar with proprietary computer programs and procedures.
-Study for and pass ASPPA (American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries) Retirement Plan Fundamentals Course.
-Provide support to the Consulting Unit (filing, data scrubbing, data entry, mail, etc.).
-Provide support to the Operations Unit (data entry, transaction processing).
-Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.
As an integral member of the organization, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the department and the Company in achieving their goals.
Experience: Must have Customer Service experience
