Job Description

Staffworks is recruiting for a regional railroad company. We are looking for a detail-oriented General Bookkeeper to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry, tracking expenses, and assisting with basic accounting tasks. This role ensures smooth day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements
  • Maintain and update financial records
  • Assist with basic payroll and invoicing
  • Monitor company expenses and assist with budgeting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and financial principles
