Job Description

Accounts Receivable Clerk compiles, invoices, and maintains individual plant's billing and accounts receivable records.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Compiles billing data, computes amount due and mails billing statements
  • Answers and follows-up accounts receivable inquiries from both customers and management
  • Types invoices, listing services rendered, amounts due, credit terms and dates of shipment
  • Calls and/or emails correspondence to delinquent customers as needed
  • Reconciles Accounts Receivable ledger total with General Ledger total and performs journal entries, monthly

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in accounting from two-year college or technical school with six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office operating system
  • Word for windows skills (know how to perform letter merges, set-up tables, generate simple documents
  • Experienced working within Excel worksheets, performing basic accounting equations and formatting cells
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts


Pay rate $18.00/hr

Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
