Job Description

Position:Shipping & Receiving Clerk  
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Job Summary:
 The Yard Associate will work outdoors in the yard, meeting trucks as they arrive and depart. This role is responsible for counting materials and orders to ensure accuracy during loading and unloading, as well as creating and printing material tags. Attention to detail and strong counting skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet incoming and outgoing trucks in the yard
  • Count materials and orders to verify accuracy during loading and unloading
  • Create and print material tags
  • Maintain accurate records and follow yard procedures
  • Work safely and efficiently in an outdoor environment

Qualifications:

  • Strong counting skills (able to count accurately up to 1,000)
  • Basic computer skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Requirements:

  • Steel-toe shoes are required
