IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Shipper/Packers
1st shift $18.00
2nd shift $19.80
Duties include:
Loads, unloads, and packages trucks and accessories for shipment/receiving. Performs a variety of routine shipping/receiving duties which may include any of the following: packing, crating, banding, foaming, mailing, loading, unloading, etc. Prepares and/or builds packaging to ensure shipments remain secure. Builds crates/skids as required for shipping. Performs basic quality checks to ensure proper paperwork is included, truck/accessories weight do not exceed trailer limit, outgoing shipments are packaged properly, etc. Interfaces with a variety of internal and external customers to answer routine questions. Assists in resolving routine problems/issues. Follows standard work to complete tasks. Supports the Company s 5S program in an effort to maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a neat, organized manner.
