Job Description
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Wage: $18.00 per hour
We are hiring organized and dependable order pickers to join a warehouse team. In this role, you ll accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining safety standards.
Order Picker Responsibilities and Duties
- Locate and pick products based on pick lists or scanner instructions
- Verify product information and quantities for accuracy
- Pack and label orders according to shipping standards
- Organize and stage orders for loading or delivery
- Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity goals
Order Picker Qualifications and Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment and processes
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Good time management and organizational abilities
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Able to read and write in English
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred
