Job Description
1st Shift General Operations
Reports To: Plastics Supervisor
Dept: Plastics
Summary/Objective: Performs secondary operations per customer specifications such as but not limited to using fixtures where required, drills holes, and taps with flexarm, cordless drills, air operated drills, and operates Anilam machine to machine parts etc.

1st shift 7am until 3:30pm
$15.050- $18.00 per hour DOE
Job Responsibilities
Using fixtures where required drills holes and taps with flexarm, cordless drills, air operated drill and Bridgeport machine.
Operates Anilam machine to machine parts as needed.
Places inserts into molded or drilled holes using cordless drill or other tools such as hammer and performs gluing as specified.
Assembles and glues components.
Cleans internal threaded inserts using a tap.
Repair flaws with glue and fillers.
Deflashes and finishes parts are required using xacto knives, files, sanding sticks and air operated grinder.
Verifies production traveler counts and requests supplies as needed.
Completes and maintains daily production logs, reports, and records.
Conducts quality inspection of own work as it is being produced/completed.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Proactively supports the ISO process approach to quality management and the Syteline MIS system.
Adheres to all safety policies and practices, consistently uses personal protective equipment, and practices good housekeeping.
Maintains regular on time attendance and adheres to company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
Applies classroom and on the job post training information, knowledge, skills, and abilities consistently in a quality oriented manner (wherein the KSAs are part of the jobs tasks, duties and other tasks as requested).
Performs other tasks as directed.
Educational, Experience Based, and Skill Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent with 6 months experience desirable in using hand tools such as but not limited to cordless drills, air operated drills, hammer etc.
Ability to read prints, diagram and job instructions, and use micrometer, verniers, calipers, and gauges.
Attention to Detail, Manual dexterity.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk, grasp and manipulate parts for and sit for extended time periods, reach, stoop. Lift up to an including 35 pounds as needed.
