Job Description

Forklift Operator

Monday - Friday

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Wage: $18.00 - $20.00


Job Duties

  • Load and unload delivery trucks using forklift
  • Stage, store, and pick loads with forklift
  • Ensure product rotation of glass, cans, supplies, plastic, pallets, general customer product, etc.
  • Warehouse utility work: cut wrap and stage products, change damaged boxes, apply straps and stretch wrap, restack pallets, etc.
  • Maintains and cleans inside of warehouse when needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • Must have at the time of hire, and maintain throughout employment, a valid NYS Drivers License free of major infractions
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
  • Ability to work irregular hours on occasion
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Certification
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, etc.
  • At least 1 year forklift experience
