Office Assistant. 8am-4pm. Temp to hire.

Job Requirements:
Answer phones and transfer to appropriate staff members
Take and distribute accurate messages
Greet clients and direct them to correct staff member
Prepare outgoing mail for distribution
Scan and copy documents
Maintain office filing and storage systems
Retrieve information when requested
Update and maintain internal staffing contact lists
Type documents, reports and correspondence
Organize appointments and meetings
Assist with event planning
Monitor and maintain office supplies
Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and services
Perform work related errands
Assist accounts payable with entering data as needed
Assist maintenance department with data entry as needed
Competent computer skills including MS Office, Excel and accounting software
Internet skills including use of email and shared calendars
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Reliable attendance.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
U. S. Citizenship
Ability to pass background check.
Experience in payroll/accounting preferred.

Required Education:
High School Diploma
Business College Training Preferred
