Staffworks is currently looking to bring on a full time Assistant Staffing Coordinator for our Binghamton office!

Hours are Monday-Friday from 8: 00am-5: 00pm.

The Assistant Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for serving applicants by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Supporting Staffing Coordinators by maintaining the daily calendar. Supporting Staffing Coordinators by completing the candidate post-hire paperwork, compliance review and file scanning.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Maintains the daily appointment calendar.
Serves applicants by giving them applications to complete, providing instructions on how to fill them out correctly and ensuring there is a ready supply of forms at hand.
Set up skill assessments for applicants as directed by Recruiting Specialists.
Assist the Staffing Coordinators and the RM by reviewing the records off all candidates placed on assignment. Ensuring that all compliance policies were followed and properly documented. Scanning the employee paper file and attaching to the electronic file.
Report incomplete compliance issues to the RM.
Cross train and be prepared to assume the duties of a Staffing Coordinator.
Maintain a safe and clean work area and applicant room.
Contribute to team effort by accepting other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of Administrative experience REQUIRED.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient at using computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite required.
