Work in collaboration with editorial team, providing support for and oversight of all assigned accounts and team members. Develop and maintain style, structure and tone for clients by editing all written content for grammar, punctuation and spelling in line with client style guidelines for written copy. Ensure accuracy and thoroughness of copy by fact-checking content against specification information. Develop and maintain style guidelines to client specifications and industry standards. Work with editorial team to manage writing staff and client expectations. Ensure writing staff is trained to follow style guidelines, writing procedures and source material in order that they produce consistent and accurate product records for assigned clients that are within daily/weekly production expectations. Manage work queue and oversee the life cycle of each record through content creation work flows.
BA/BS in English, Communications, or Print Journalism preferred.
Prior copy editing and writing experience, preferably publish and/or catalog work.
Knowledge of MS Office programs and familiarity with electronic publishing media.
